Dry Nendran

Our Nendran Powder is made from carefully selected Nendran plantains, the variety South Indian families have trusted for generations. Naturally starchy and energy-dense, it's a comforting, easily digestible food that has long been a traditional first food across Kerala homes. We gently dry the fruit at low temperature and mill it into a fine, smooth powder so it cooks up quickly into a soft, creamy preparation. No added sugar, no preservatives, no artificial colours or flavours. Gluten free and 100% vegetarian.

How to use: Whisk one to two tablespoons into warm water or milk and simmer briefly into a smooth porridge; sweeten naturally if you like; or add to smoothies and bakes for body and energy. As a weaning food for infants, introduce only after your child has started solids and after checking with your pediatrician.

Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place, sealed tightly after each use, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
